First Lady Maples Survey for Appreciation

For the 2023 Pastor & Wife Appreciation Month, the Pastor & First Lady were asked to complete a 3 question survey. 

Here is the answers to the Pastor's Survey:

Question 1:
What advice would you give to other First Ladies as they assist the Pastor leading the members?

Answer 1:
One of my favorite quotatons, “God doesn’t always call the qualifed but He does qualify the called,” the first family is to reverence, respect, and honor the teaching of the church. Pray for us all.

Question 2:
What is your favorite moment as a First Lady?

Answer 2:My most favorite and memorable moment as a First Lady is, June 1985, when my husband the pastor cut the ribbon to enter our New Church, located at 1369 Norris Road.

Question 3:What is the most challenging part of being a First Lady?

Answer 3:
The Pastor and Wife Appreciation Day services are always a time where the members, sister churches and their pastors and others show their love and appreciation for Apostle Maples and I for the month of November by an abundance of words, gifts, money and etc.  It is a challenge for me because it continues to humble me knowing that people are making a sacrifice to show their love and appreciation for us.
