The month of July is the month for the children of Apostolic Deliverance Temple (A.D.T.) to be in the spotlight. The leaders of the children host the Children’s Day program, this year the theme is “Holy Children, Giving a Holy Praise to a Holy God.
Psalms 127:3 (KJV) reads: Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
Children are the ones who ensure that the bloodline of the parents is continued through the circle of life, meaning children when they become adults, they are the ones that obey the scripture by being married and having children to continue the generations.
One of my favorite passages in the bible is the passage about the meal that fed 5,000 people in the book of John (John 6: 1-14). Did you know that it was a lad which was a young boy that provided the 2 fish and 5 barley loaves of bread which fed the 5,000 people. Additionally, to show that when God works and is in the mist of your life, he will cause an overflow. After the 5,000 men and women had eaten the disciples were able to gather up the fragments that remained so nothing would be lost. The fragments that were gathered were 12 baskets of barley loaves remained. This is God’s overflow which in your life God can also provide an overflow of blessing to the children and their families.
