This letter is to the Women of ADT Church. Our theme this year that God has given is “Do More in 2024.” As Pastor and General Overseer, I can see that the theme that has been selected for the Women Month is befitting the vision for growth for the 2024 year.
The theme for the Women Month is about Mentoring. According to Cambridge Dictionary, the definition of mentoring is the activity of supporting and advising someone with less experience to help them develop in their work. The vision for the women tells me that you are aligned with the church’s vision to do more by being mentors to other women. This also is in line with 2 other themes for the month of February. Black History and Valentine’s Day. In regard to Black History black women have always been on one accord and taken care of other Black women in happy times, sad times all times. Women mentoring women is perfect way to show love, kindness, and compassion to one another. The saying each one teaches one is what I see occurring amongst the women. Women of ADT may you have continued wisdom, love, and many blessings during the month of February and at all times.
