Soldiers in the US Military or in God’s army takes a special commitment. To make this decision and be prepared for the ultimate sacrifice takes special men and women.
The holiday of Memorial Day, in the United States, which is the last Monday in May honoring those who have died in the nation’s wars. It originated during the American Civil War when citizens placed flowers on the graves of those who had been killed in battle according to Google.
I send a special thank you to all those brave men and women that have decided to serve in the US Branches of the Armed Forces (Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy and Space Force). According to Google, the U.S. Space Force is the newest branch of the miliary. It was established on December 20, 2019, when the National Defense Authorization Act was signed into law (with bi-partisan support), creating the first new branch of the armed services in 73 years.
My prayers are with all soldiers as you defend and protect this country wherever you have been stationed during the times of war or peace. I graciously thank those men and women that have paid the ultimate sacrifice of death while serving bravely. I send special prayers out to your family, friends and loved ones during this Memorial Day holiday.
I pray for your health and strength, peace of mind and safety as you serve your tours of duty at home and abroad.
