2010Think Before You Act (TBYA) was established by a mandate from God, Apostle Maples, Jr and several members of the community began to establish the foundation. On March 23, 2010, the Memphis City Council passed a resolution that annually the week of April 4 - 10, the City of Memphis will honor Think Before You Act Non-Violence Week in memory of Dr. Martin Luther King's Jr. legacy of non-violence. 2012Apostle Maples, Jr traveled to Haiti where 11 souls were baptized in water in Jesus' Name.
2014Apostle Maples, Jr returned to Haiti to baptize 18 additional souls in water in Jesus' Name.
2016The contributions in the Memphis and Shelby County community of Apostle Maples, Jr. led to receive an honorary street sign for a portion of Norris Road from Elvis Presley to Ball Road is now known as "Apostle Perry Maples, Jr. Place".
2019 An unprecedented time in our country with the outbreak of the Covid-19 Coronavirus Pandemic caused the world to shut-down. Our church congregation could not assemble in the church building. During this time Apostle Maples, Jr. continued to pastor and shepherd the flock, preach, teach and encourage the Saints utilizing all available media outlets: Facebook, Radio, Internet, Live Streaming, Zoom meetings, Teleconferencing and etc. The church continues to function and thrive!July 4, 1976The birth of the Apostolic Deliverance Temple Church of Jesus Christ. The first service held at the Lemoyne Gardens Auditorium for Sunday services. 27 members were in attendance.
